Eager Elephants

In the Eager Elephants we build upon the children's independence. We explore and encourage their natural curiosity through activities of their interests using various resources and tools. We aim to maintain their enthusiasm for learning and helping them to achieve their full potential. Activities are available through adult led to child initiated supporting small group activities supporting personal and social development. 

The Eager Elephants have a large room with a conservatory at the front entrance of the building. The conservatory hosts our quiet area for the children to come and relax, explore a variety of books and encourage imaginative role play. 

In the main room we have a small carpeted area where the children will select their own activities including  dressing up, trains and track, dolls, small world and role play (shop, hairdressers, recycling centre and many more). We have painting, arts and crafts and mark making resources available.  We have a  maths area filled with various puzzles, colours, numbers and shape resources for the children to freely investigate. 

There is a small bathroom at the back of the room for the children to use including nappy changing facilities.
